About time tracking in Autotask
In the most general sense, Autotask allows you to track the time you spend on the job and converts it to revenue.
- You can track customer-facing time directly on the ticket or task assigned to you. These time entries will automatically appear on your timesheet.
- You can track internal time (meetings and administrative) directly on your timesheet.
- Autotask will also keep track of the days your business is closed, and manage time off benefits (vacation, sick time etc.) for all resources.
Autotask time tracking creates a complete record of both billable and non-billable resource time. The users, timesheet approvers and your HR department have complete visibility of weekly billable hours goals and metrics, vacation days used up and remaining, and holidays.
