Setting up Autotask to support Xerox PageConnect/XPPS

Xerox PageConnect/XPPS device type
When the Xerox installed module is turned on, Autotask will automatically create a Device Type, Xerox PageConnect/XPPS, and its associated User-Defined Fields. These User-Defined Fields display the data that is imported for a specific printer every month. Refer to The PageConnect/XPPS device type.
Add Xerox printers to your product list
After the Xerox Extension has been enabled, your Autotask Administrator must configure your Admin module to support the PageConnect/XPPS import. The first step is to make sure that all PageConnect/XPPS printers are listed on your Products list, because only items on the Product list can be installed as Devices and associated with the customer and the billing contract. Create the material codes you will use to bill overage
The overage for Xerox PageConnect/XPPS printers is added to the contract as a Contract Charge during the XML import. You must add Material Codes for overages for each print output type, that is, color, mono, ColorMono1, etc. Refer to Adding material codes to bill overage.
Map Xerox-related products to material codes
The price point for PageConnect/XPPS overage is different for each print output type and each printer model. In order to correctly bill the overage for each printer, identify which Material Codes will be used for each printer model. Once the Products and the Material Codes are set up, map the Material Codes to the Products. Refer to Mapping Xerox-related products to material codes.
Set up services and bundles for billing the monthly base price
You must set up the Services and Bundles used to bill the monthly PageConnect/XPPS Base Price. Refer to Setting up services for Xerox PageConnect/XPPS.
